Northstar Custom Works is Chase — and 24 years of getting it right with his own hands.
Chase grew up on an 80-acre farm, where you fix what breaks and build what you need. That's where he learned carpentry — out of necessity, not a classroom. Turned out he had a real knack for it.
He kept at it out of high school and has been in the trade since he was 17. He's turning 41 in a month, which puts about 24 years of hands-on building behind him — everything from farm fixes to high-end custom homes on the coast.
Today he runs Northstar Custom Works the way he learned to build: honestly, carefully, and alongside the people he's building for. He likes to talk to homeowners directly. He'd rather have you on the design team than hand you a price and a plan.
The goal from here is straightforward — keep moving into high-end work, expand where it makes sense, and eventually help more people learn the trade the way he did.
